Fire detection systems

Our AeroPro and Amfe fire protection solutions can be customised to your specific requirements. As a VdS-certified company for the installation of fire protection systems, we use various fire extinguishing control centres for this purpose.

VdS fire extinguishing control centre Hekatron Integral Evox

Our fire ex tinguishing control centre (FLZ) from Hekatron is a central control unit in a building that is responsible for controlling, monitoring and managing our fire extinguishing systems.

Its main tasks include

  1. Monitoring the fire extinguishing systems: The FLZ monitors all automatic extinguishing systems such as gas extinguishing systems or aerosol extinguishing systems. It recognises faults or triggers and issues corresponding messages.
  2. Alerting: In the event of a fire, the FLZ triggers an alarm, either directly on site or via a connection to a fire alarm centre (BMZ). Optionally, this can also forward the alarm to the fire brigade or other relevant authorities.
  3. Control of the extinguishing systems: In the event of a fire, the FACP ensures that the corresponding extinguishing systems are activated. This can be done automatically or manually.
  4. Integration into the building technology: The FLZ is often integrated into the overall building technology and can take further measures in the event of a fire, such as closing fire doors, controlling smoke extraction systems or switching off electrical systems.
  5. Interface to the fire brigade: The FLZ provides the fire brigade with a central access point from which it can monitor and control fire-fighting measures in the building.
Overall, the fire extinguishing control centre is an essential component of modern fire protection concepts that contributes to fast and efficient firefighting.

Cascading of several small extinguishers:

Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art control technology, it is possible to cascade several small extinguishing devices and connect additional peripheral devices, such as smoke aspiration systems (RAS), smoke and heat detectors for smouldering fire detection. All devices comply with DIN EN 54 and have potential-free contacts that enable the triggering information to be forwarded to higher-level systems such as fire alarm systems, fire alarm control panels or programmable logic controllers (PLC).

Multialert® mini - our smallest fire extinguishing control centre

The Multialert® mini is operated with 24 volts and can be individually integrated into companies' fire alarm systems. Depending on the situation and requirements on site, the Multialert® mini combines small extinguishing devices as well as RAS, smoke and heat detectors. In the event of a fire, the Multialert can also use audiovisual signals to draw attention to the fire locally and report it to higher-level systems (BMA/BMZ).
