Hekatron Integral Evox VdS fire extinguishing control centre

Our fire extinguishing control centre from Hekatron is a buildings's central control unit that is dedicated to controlling, monitoring, and managing our fire extinguishing systems.

Its main features include

1. Monitoring the fire extinguishing systems: the fire extinguishing control centre monitors all automatic extinguishing systems such as gas extinguishing systems or aerosol extinguishing systems. It recognises faults or triggers and issues corresponding messages.
2. Alerting: in the event of a fire, the fire extinguishing control centre triggers an alarm, either directly on site or via a connection to a fire alarm control panel. If required, it can also forward the alarm to the fire brigade or other relevant authorities.
3. Control of the extinguishing systems: in the event of a fire, the fire extinguishing control centre ensures that the corresponding extinguishing systems are activated. This can be done automatically or manually.
4. Integration into the building technology: the fire extinguishing control centre is often integrated into the overall building technology and can take further measures in the event of a fire, such as closing fire doors, controlling smoke extraction systems or switching off electrical systems.
5. Interface to the fire brigade: the fire extinguishing control centre provides the fire brigade with a central access point from which they can monitor, and control, fire-fighting measures in the building.

Cascading of several small extinguishers:

Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art control technology, it is possible to cascade several small extinguishing devices and connect additional peripheral devices, such as smoke aspiration systems, smoke and heat detectors to dectect smouldering fires. All devices comply with DIN EN 54 and have potential-free contacts that enable the triggering information to be forwarded to higher-level systems such as fire alarm systems, fire alarm control panels, or programmable logic controllers (PLC).
